Central India Christian Mission
CICM is dedicated to providing schooling, clothing, shelter, food, love, safety, and health care for hundreds of children every day. As the children grow, their needs do also, furthering their education beyond High School is a real concern.
Jewelry and other items on the site will provide for continuing education of these children; children who are Lost no More.
The little boy in our logo above is from a small village in the State of Darjeeling. He was peeking through the window watching the children enjoy Vacation Bible School. After inviting him inside he made friends quickly.
Trade school, Nursing School, University, or Preaching School are just some of the possibilities available after High School.
CICM Children's home are in various cities across India. The Bal Bhavan Children's Home in Damoh is where you will find the central office. Central India Christian Mission has been dedicated to serving the people of India for over 30 years.
Why these children? Some of the children were dropped off at the Children's Home, some were found at the garbage dump, some crying on the jungle floor, some were rescued from slavery, others from much worse. For a number of the children, their parents were killed because they were Christians. Their homes and churches were burned to the ground.
Without further education in India, these children are destined to live in poverty. After rescuing them and saving their lives how can we turn them back to the poverty and hopelessness they were rescued from?
What CICM does for the children in India--
- Hundreds of children are directly cared for, including shelter, schooling, food, love, nurturing and medical care
- Hundreds more of local children also receive food, schooling and medical care
- Over 100 children a year receive Cleft Palate surgery
- CICM rescues children left to die in jungles, on roadsides and even in garbage dumps.
- Children like those shown here, who find their daily food at the garbage dump can become part of the Children's Fund Program.
- Most of all, Children are taught about the Love of Jesus
